Creating a new Baseline

This guide shows you how to create a new baseline in a project so that it becomes available across all models in that project.

Prerequisites

  • You have admin access to the project.

Steps

  1. Open Project Settings for the project.

  2. Navigate to the Baselines section and click Configure baselines.

  3. Click Add to add a new baseline.

  4. Enter a name for the baseline. The name must be unique within the project.

  5. Optionally, enter a description to help other users understand the purpose of this baseline.

  6. Optionally, select a color to visually distinguish this baseline in the Model Editor.

  7. Click Save to confirm.

Project Overview > Project Settings > Configure Baselines > Add

Result

The new baseline is now available across all models in the project. Model builders can reference it when configuring nodes with baseline-specific operations.

Troubleshooting

  • The name is already in use — Each baseline name must be unique within the project. Choose a different name and try again.

  • The "Data" baseline cannot be deleted — "Data" is the default project baseline and is permanently available. It can be renamed but not removed.
